Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"? The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me. Men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil.

Blessed are they who maintain justice, who constantly do what is right. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man.

Good will come to him who conducts his affairs with justice. Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes.


My brothers, sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

My brothers, sisters, repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
